For Sale: Bernie Bergmann 2332cc with serpentine belt and porsche fan setup. This is the brand new one he showed last fall in HOT VW'S. Waited 6 months to get it because of that. It has a 110 amp GM alternator. Fan shroud is Gel Coat Black w/ small chip (size of a dime... maybe) on very top of shroud. Not that noticeable. Everything else ( fan, pulleys, intakes) is ceramic coated. Please read my knocks at speed post to see why I am selling it. The engine still runs fine. I pulled it. found out it was internal and decided radically stroked VW's are not for me. This was bought as a complete engine from him. Everything is matched and I have not messed with anything. It has EMPI 44 carbs, 042 heads, 110 cam, 1.5 qt oil sump, electronically balanced, 1 1/2 quiet ceramic coated exhaust, Lightened flywheel, Tall filters w/ Blue Outerwears, Custom aluminum filter tops, Petronix Electronic Ignition, "Tailored" Plug Wires. This engine in my buggy on the street with 33's and a 3 rib would scrub the tires in second and you would lose steering just flooring it pulling out somewhere. That was with a long travel beam and coilovers. I imagine it would be wild in a buggy with a stock style beam. I ordered it as a stump puller for the woods. In the trails the alternator ran 3 daylighters and 2 side spots at almost 13v at an IDLE!!! NO MORE EXPENSIVE VW OR PORSCHE ALTERNATORS!!!!! I spent $5800 on it. I am NOT GIVING IT AWAY. I AM taking fair offers. Just the FAN and CARBS and EXHAUST would cost $2200 new. If I don't get any fair offers EBAY is next, but if I go that route I am gutting it and selling piece at a time. I may consider trades if they are buggy related and not low ball. I live by Gary, IN
