Lookin for a U-joint for my steering stem. The outter diameter of the u joint needs to be around 1" on both sides and needs to be steel so I can weld it in.

Well the machine shop where im workin on my buggy at has an totaled ford truck behind the shop, so im just gonna take one off of it.

Here are two on the samba for $40. That’s cheap considering they are sweet joints and not empi crap.

we always use the steering arm from a super beetle there about 6" long and have a u-joint at each end and there splined, cant beat real VW quality.
