Here's my build. Its not fancy but it gets the job done. My first woods buggy was a Berrien Warrior built in 1984. I finished it in two weeks between school and my part time job. This one is my third and between being laid off and 30 yrs older it has taken me 2 yrs.
*The frame is a Warrior with truck bed option.
*It has a 1915 engine with dual Kadrons connected to an industrial breather.
*3 rib tranny with 930 cv's
*Nissan Sentra rear brakes
*CNC cutters
*Dual shocks in back, 1 emulsion and 1 air.
*Air shocks in front with custom towers.
*Seats are Jeep Tj
*6000lb winch with 8000 lb come a long
*Rack and Pinion steering from '95 Grand Am
*And 4 Swampers to make it go.

Pretty smooth. I only have one set of torsion in it. I have thru rods on the uppers. At least I think its pretty smooth. I haven't rode in any ones buggy. Its smoother than factory.

Those are cheap air shocks. Monroes. $79 2 year warranty. 3rd set on the front. I think I got them set right this time. Got about 600 miles of trails on them this time and no issues. Airline broke once and a bolt broke once. Both times ruined the shock. But
warranty covered it.

Yeah pretty heavy. The front end doesn't slide too much though. I also like the look.

Smaller tire as in width or height? Those on it are 8x28. I did have to put a rack and pinion on it. My bug steering box got too hard to turn.

those were the 775s that jrod has now....they were sweet for ground clearance and rollin over big stuff but they had a ton of bumpsteer and almost impossible to back down anything without trying to rip the wheel out of your hands
