I think it is a little bit different from Buggymethis trailing arms ,,but that is cool,,I like the in board calipers,,,that should make braking better,,,I have thought about the inboard,,or rather leading sprocket rotors but I dont have the room. That 1.8 Suby was my first suby engine too and my dad still runs it in one of his beetles. It is a very dependable engine,,about 80 hp.. Those A-arms look very doable in my future,,,,maybe

Looks Cool. Only one problem I see with inboard brakes. If chain or sproket fail you will not have any brakes. I like my brakes on the wheel.

Use bus spindles and bus ball joints very affordable

If you put the rotors in board on a CD like mine, I think you could use a set off the front of a street bike calipers and all.Threw the chain drive you will need 1/3 the amount of brakes you will need at the wheel. And as far as breaking a chain ,if you do you will still have one rear plus the 2 fronts tires braking . Like the monster trucks they have a wilwood calipers like on my buggy ,but they are using it before the gear reduction like a skidder . Thinking about trying something like this my self
