You got a dyno sheet to back up that 230hp?

And does it come with a blond under the dash?

If that is the buggy for $25K he is out a lot of money for nothing. Maybe $3500 is what any one will pay for it. Just being honest. I know what I have in mine and could never sell it for that.

Hearts get broken everyday my friend. Today is your day. At 27 grand you had the worst first buggy experience I've ever heard of. My first buggy I built for 6300 and sold it for 2800 a few months later and it still looked brand new. Before I took a beating like your about to I'd ride my money out of it for the next five years at least. Good luck.

I would have to agree. It sucks that you have so much money in the buggy. I hope you get the money back but it will be extremely difficult to find someone to pay what you have invested.

As for the engine, what size engine do you need to generate 230HP. To reach $10K, I would guess it has a Turbo and/or fuel injection.

Good luck with the sale..

There are a bunch of us thinking the same thing. My last car was (no offense intended) twice what I see there and I let it go cheap by comparison. Look at what Ody has, he has as much invested into stainless braided hoses than all of that car, excluding perhaps the motor. The car I have going together now I have about $2,500 in wheels and tires alone so I know it adds up quick.
If you can sell it for $25K, it's good to be you

Yep,

I am in the boat with others. I built my first buggy (sourced frame) and had upwards of $12k invested. When it came time to sell I ended up getting $5500 out of it - but that is the life of a buggy. I am getting ready to sell another one that has about $9k in it and will be starting the asking price at $4500.

I know what you're saying Mike, I really do have about $25k invested in my rail and you know what I have on it, the coilover shocks, the suspension parts, wheels and tires.... I have a lot in the motor and transmission and that alone is prolly 60 percent of the $25k and i know I will be losing my ass if I sell it but it's my pride and joy....

Joshnky78..... I know building a rail is very expensive especially having a custom engine built..... I went through the same thing.... I had mine done by kawells in tn, he done the head work, balancing and blueprinted the engine parts and so forth and then it was assembled by Eric Debord.... I would just personally just drive it and have fun...... No offense from my other post.... 8)
