Getting An Indiana Title is easy as Heck,Go to the BMV and ask for the paperwork for a Manufactured Vehicle.once you have that, call your local police dept. and have an officer stop by to look your rail over, he/she will be looking for any frame ID's and will need the numbers from the engine case. once he/she looks it over that officer will sign your paper, once that happens, you then take your paperwork and a side view pic back to the BMV and they will send you your VIN. # , then you must stamp those numbers into the frame of your rail.( I used a cover from a 4x4 elec. outlet box cut down to 4"x1" (galvanized to prevent rusting) and riveted to the frame(just incase i needed to use it on another rail) after you have that done, call your local police dept. again and have an officer come back out to confirm that your vin.# matches your paperwork.take that back to the BMV and they will issue you a plate and registration....BAM...took about 10 days to complete. hope this is of help !
This is how I got my original Title back in 1989 but a lot of states will not give out VIN numbers anymore. At least GA will not allow you to register Dune Buggy or Kit cars anymore.
