It was a blast, but then again I was in a buggy. I now understand why the front end was so light when I bought it.

Cool Vids. I would like to get back up there. Silver lake is a blast. Every time we go to silver lake we usally break something. The sand is rough on the buggies. We also take our Dirt Bikes with paddle tires. The Bikes are fun also. We took a 500cc quad once, it was fun but took a lot of enegery to ride. Even with the paddle tires the quad got stuck a lot. Silver Lake is a very cool place.

I thought the sand seemed easy on everything. Wouldn't see bigger vw engines on sedan tranny's in the woods. I will admit at 50+ mph the suspension was dancing up and down alot, but the sand gives more then anything but mud. What parts get the most abuse in the sand? Want to know because we do plan to go back some more.
