A few of us got together and climbed some hills at the Cold Spot today. We had a blast! Or at least a "Little Blast". I have got to say sorry to Eric DeBord. He climbed a great hill and I missed the pic. But then I handed the camera to Dave and he got me climbing it. Fist is a shot of Dave Smith gettin some air.
The next one is Dave on Angina Ridge. This is where I missed Eric.
The last one is me climbing Angina Ridge. The last time I was there I couldn't touch it. Went right up it today.

Dean, are you finally getting the coil overs setup the way you like them? |

Yeah I think I have. They work great on a hill. I have just enough spring to hold the buggy up. I wish they were a little stiffer on the trails but its hard to have both. With the old torsion setup I wasn't able to get ground clearance and a soft suspension. |

Thats exactly right. I am tearing it down today. Hopefully I can hone it and replace the rings. I cleaned and OILED the filters before I went to D&K. They plugged so badly in that dust that the filters sucked in lost their seal and it ran on unfiltered air. It has gone down hill fast since then. What makes me feel really stupid is that I had this filter laying on my work bench. Oh well its raining like hell here. Work has been cancelled. I can think of worse things than working on my car all day. |

I'm sure you will. I had a blast sunday. You were right about the rings. I tore it down today and 3&4 are wiped out. Jugs seem fine Some new rings and its back in business. |
