I believe the nhra funny cars use aprox 14 gallons in one pass. at least thats what scotty cannons crew chief told me in 99. it's probably more now. I was on a crew for a pro fuel harley drag bike team for a little while. the v-twin drag bike used 1.5 gallons of nitro between burnout and one pass. there website http://www.lakeerieracing.com/ it used to be called FBM racing. When my buddy Mike (FBM) decide to quit racing I decided I was done as well. I still help out lake erie from time to time. |
