In this video the truck owner made a remark about how he did not think this truck could do well off road.

that would be a cool job - get to go wheelin to get to where they are stuck - paid to get em out -- go wheelin back out again . Most of us have to do that for free!!!!

Special thanks to Digger of Az virual jeep Club for the pictures. Our "New" camera batteries were dead.
By nine people are checking out what happened when some unlucky person blasted up and over the little hill at the first cove without prerunning it.

We will be out there at 5 am tommorow morning pulling it back up the hill. I have two 2 gig memory cards so there should be plenty of video.

Pulling it out wasy easy. We started at 5.30 am and were done by 8.00 am. Quite a bit of time was spent letting the electric motor for the winch cool down.

Do you use steel or synthetic on your winchs? Over the weekend I frayed my steel cable on my Warn4.0 and ordered a 50' 1/4" Synthetic Amsteel rope to replace it.

It is steel. I am planning on synthetic whwn I add the winch to my rail. Make sure and post up on how well the synthetic works.I would like to find out how durable it is. The light weight is a major plus for a rail.
