1980. He was a Vietnam Vet that had got shot up pretty bad and had finally gotten healed up. He had a 6 yr old son and a 4 year old daughter. I have 2 memories of him, one was playing in the floorboard of his '65 beetle because he had those neat beetle floormats, and going to his funeral. I was only 3 (almost 4) when it happened. He met a dumptruck and the sun was in the drivers eyes. It drove straight over his car and stopped about a hundred feet on down the road. |
