Well today i got the motor bolted in and pretty much ready to go. The VW is sold and the subaru is in. I also made a cradle and upper bracket for my radiator. I used strap steel and some rubber mounts all the way around it. I went ahead and started my foundation for the fuel cell. And got a good look where my seat are gonna be.. This is the first set of pics ive posted i hope it works out. So here you go tell me what you think of my buggy good and bad..

It's a thing of beauty :!: You might consider header wrap near the cam belt covers. I have melted 2 sets already. :(

That's some really good fabrication work man. It takes creativity to fit some of that stuff in there and make it look good. I'm finding that out myself!
Good job man.

Looks great! What about air flow for intercooler? Are you going to put fan on top to push cool air thru it? Keep the pics coming and get busy  -but keep up the good work!

Well i was thinking about a scoop, The fans off my radiator will be blowing that way so they will help a little.. I'll have to take some pics of the extended rear cage i had to make scince the turbo made the motor about 10 inches longer than my vw. and heres a link to my other photobucket account i have alot of pics on there..

The only thing about that is that you have hot air from rad going thru intercooler. The differance is between 75-100 degrees depending on the temp outside. It may only loose 20-30 hp which is still more than your vw eng.[/quote]

You bring up a good point. I think i will have to go with a scoop that reaches up over the radiator. Thanks for the input i honestly would have never thought about that..

Are the coils on your Fox shocks Blue or black in color? Mine came with Black coils. I was expecting them to be Blue.
