Nothing to do with this but I quit smoking 4 months ago. It was the hardest thing I ever did in my lifetime. I smoked heavy for 30 years.

I quit almost 3 yrs ago. One day I just decided my hair (which was so long I could sit on it back then, now it's only to my waist, back then it came down below my butt) anyway, I decided my hair smelled awful. Then I noticed my clothes, car and truck all smelled like an ashtray. I could only imagine what my breath smelled like  It was TERRIBLE hard to quit.... I just decided one day "This is it!" and I stopped smoking. I learned that I can smell things that I could not before and things taste different now. I STILL miss my cigarettes when I am drinking my coffee.... I smoked for close to 30 years, though.... I figure it's normal to miss it sometimes...as long as you don't give in and start up again......and I won't.... :D

Here is something to think about.
Found this little application on the web.
http://www.silkquit.org/stop-smoking/vi ... pport.aspx

Enter the date you quit and it keeps tabs on your progress.
I quit four years, nine months, one week, three days, 22 hours, 13 minutes and 26 seconds ago.
That's 3493 cigarettes not smoked, saving me $6,987.70. I've saved 1 week, 5 days, 3 hours, 5 minutes of my life.
I have 5 grandkids that I want to see grow up.
That was reason enough for me.
Threw them down in '04 and haven't touched or wanted one since.

Yea most medical calls we run are either heart or breathing related. COPD seems to be a major problem at this time. Ya gotta love it when they are on O2 at home and step out side still on O2 to have a smoke. After all the probs ive seen people havin im glad I gave it up.
