Looks good Tanner!

How did it feel driving the single seater compared to your 2 seater ?

Did you drive it back up on the trailer?? IF yes, then you done real good for first time out in anything that you just bought and hit the woods!

Get them tires to Koko, he'll have you packin the wheels up them hills!!

DAMN IT!!!! I was saving up to get that buggy! You drove quite some ways to get that huh? How do you like it? That was a GOOD price for that.

um the first ride was at biter creek and no it did not make it back to the truck .... we were playing in the creek washing mud off and broke a cv so we had to pull it out b.c we did not have an extra.

im really happy with the buggy but just a little dissapointed that the guy lied in the add by saying it had a built rancho trani with wedle gears and its only a stock 5 rib and he said it had all 930's and it has bus up top and bug on bottom but i have redriled stubs for the bottom so it will be bus to bus this week..

Aww well, broke cv's dont really count. Especially if they aint 930's. You still did good!

I CANT BELIEVE HE LIED LIKE THAT! Thats some major stuff to lie about in my opinion! Couple thousand dollars worth of tranny and $700+ or so in a 930 kit. Thats some BS.
It still wasnt a terrible price for the buggy if it runs strong and drives good, but to lie like that......that aint right, especially to a young buggy rider!! :x  :x
Did you know it when you picked it up, and did he come off his price because of it??

no i know the differnce in the names of all the cvs but not what they look like till curt showed me all three and now i understand after seeing them all together but then i did not know so i had to take his word on the cvs but as the trany goes he said it was a racho case with weddle gears i saw it was 5 rib and just thought it was suppose to be like that b.c it was an aftermarket case... but o well

it dose run good for the most part.... its been sitting a wile so the carbs a a bit gumed up and need to be rebuilt and the alt is not charging but im all most straiting all that out

Post up his username, so others will be sure not to buy nothing else from him!!!!

I tried three times to get him to respond to me when you first asked me what I thought of the buggy, so I could go check it out for you. Finally he emailed me a very short regular email, not a pm, the Friday before you was gonna get it. Cant remeber username, something with 'jim' in it seems like, and I remember he only had like 1 or 2 posts. Suprisingly  cant find it in memeberlist either, and I think ad is gone?

SCAMMER!! :x

I thought about that , too. But if he raced it, surely he'd know what he had. His buddies would've told him to get rid of them car cv's! :D

My name is Jim. I sold the buggy to Tanner. He e-mailed me and called me with numerous questions. I answered every question honestly. If I didn’t know an answer, I told him that as well. I don’t know a lot about buggies either. Everything that I posted about the buggy is what I was told when I traded a truck for it. I asked a price that I thought was fair. I didn’t try to screw or scam anyone. Tanner told me about his money problems and I met him in Nashville to save him gas money. He looked it over and asked more questions. I helped him with his broken trailer in Nashville. I didn’t leave him when the security guards were bitching at him for jumping medians in my buggy that he was test driving.(Which I thought was hilarious, but maybe not the best thing to be doing at the Opryland hotel mall) The next day someone called me telling me they were Tanners dad and explaining how I had screwed Tanner. I had talked with Tanners dad before he bought it and knew this was not him. He then said he was Tanners mechanic. I believe this was Curt, but if I’m wrong I apologize. When someone calls me and lies about who they are, how am I supposed to believe that what they are telling me about is true? Anyway I told his “dad”/mechanic to have Tanner call me and we would try to work something out. The next thing I know everyone is bitching about me on the internet, and still no call. I’m not sure what I could have done differently, other than sold it to someone else. Thank you to everyone who gave me the benefit of doubt and not slamming me the first chance they got. After all of this I don’t have such a gracious heart about Tanners situation.

let's start here.. how much did the buggy cost? if jim honestly didnt know, and believed what someone told him, that isn't really his fault... nor is it tanners... if the man sold you it for a decent price and also helped you out while you were there then id say you made it out okay ont he deal... if he didnt know, the man didn't know, and honestly, you shouldve done some research yourself. im not taking sides by any means, just putting it all into perspective from a neutral position. neither of you knew what the parts were, so why should it be anyones fault, simply take it as a lesson learned for both. end of story!

You should buy something claimed to be weddle gears in a rancho case with 930 cv's,stubs, and tranny flanges and find out they are type 2. If you make an honest mistake representing something to be different than what it is,,then make an honest effort to make it right. Some sort of compramise is in order.

How do you know they are not weddle gears?

Yeah, i agree, it sucks. But like i said, if he only paid for thebuggy what it is worth as it is now, then so be it... he never said how much he paid or whatnot... and not to sound like a dick, but if tanner really didnt know what he was buying, he shouldve done some research or at least have taken a knowledgable person along with, especially when spending thousands of dollars.. Also, if he never called jim or had someone call and lie on the phone that is pretty immature, and then to get on here and bash the man's name... but hey, who am i to say, i don't know either of them and for all i know jim d really could be a giant scum bag? but i doubt it. there is my two cents, everyone else threw their pennies in the pot, and just because i dont agree with them don't everyone go getting mad at me now, because honestly i was just trying to put the whole story into perspective in one post from what i could gather. like i said, i'm neutral and really it isnt my business.
