My buddy Greg aka Mudd Mutt was working in his garage when this incident happened. I take his direct quote "Well after 35yrs of accident free building and fabricating and welding things galore,,,,It happened last nite,,,the grinder I was using (1handed like a dipshit) caught and went right across my left wrist and cut a 3"long by about 3/16"deep "blood gushing trench" in my arm,,,WOO HOO 14 some steches ( opps there called "sutures" now) later, I got to come home. BOY do I FEEL LIKE A DUMBASS!!!! SO Boys and Girls USE BOTH HANDS ON POWER TOOLS! Oh yea this has been 1 hell of a vacation!"

Dave I didnt throw it I was to busy keepin the blood from gushing out! When we got back from ER I taped the ER wrist band to the grinder, kind of a sic reminder to anyone who uses it lol And my buddy David went back to welding under the truck and caught his shirt on fire!(he's a rookie) lol So we called it a night. I'm building a TUFF TRUCK for my other buddy Brian, Its a 78 Scout Sway-away Coilovers, sbc midship,4x4 its around 24"rear travel 14" frt travel I'll post some pics after Kyle learns me LOL OH Yea if anyone knows were theres any 78 Scout body parts(just the outer skins is fine) in the Ohio area Please get ahold of me |

My dad and Scott (yankee) almost had a bad one like that last week, My dad was using one of those 6" cut off wheels in a big ol grinder and the cut-off wheel had a place in it where it was chipped on the edge and it cought in the steel they were cutting and the rest of the cut off wheel basically exploded and a piece of it that was about an inch and a half wide and 3 inches long flew up right in between both of them and stuck in the insulation in our 12' ceiling in the metal building! That could have gotten real ugly real fast! -Dakotah |
