Well, the way I heard it was from Phil. Yep, it cost brian some $. Seems all he had was some pipe dope and a "big" crescent wrench to torque a gland nut.. lol

I think this is how it went "WELL a long time ago about 14 years back i built my first buggy and motor didnt have very many tools eric d. told me the gland nut had to be very tight (no tools) i put pipedope on the gland nut and tighten it with a crestant wrench. needless to say it didnt last long. eric looked at the gland nut and said what is this white stuff I SAID PIPEDOPE.LOL there u have it.
