It at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Wellston Ohio. I have posted it on here several times but nobody will come to it. The last one I went to there were only 5 buggies. It wont be back until next year. Like to see some more come and try it out.

Well, this one is slowly dying out, cannot keep enough people involved, in fact this year they done away with the stock buggy class because nobody was running in it. Now the only buggy classes are 2 barrel modified, and then there is 2 wheel open, in 2 wheel open you can run against anything 2 wheel drive and any engine. Believe it or not, a buggy usually wins that class because of the power to weight ratio. I hope we can keep this going and get other events like this to help keep our sport alive. I would like to make a buggy class at the local dirt track and have a halftime show of buggy round track racing and maybe that would get more people involved in our sport.

Yeah I remember. Even beat the jeep with the V8! That made my day. That was a long time ago.

I would definitly be interested in a get-together like this. I come from three generations that have raced in the dirt, but I'd be the first to compete in a buggy, lol. Let me know when you plan to do it, I'd love to come.

Kyle if you decide to start racing you should have Roy or Burt draw that Snidely M. Whiplash mustash on you again. It looked pretty intimidating.

Heres a video of the local speed pit, this is not my class but I thought it was a pretty neat rig, with a big block blower motor. he breaks something or just gets scared after about 2 seconds on the throttle.

Heres one of me racing in the near lane, I take the victory by a small margin. This was 2 years ago, I no longer have that rail.

It used to be that your time didnt start until you broke the beam so if you started after your opponent it didnt matter, thats the way I liked it, but last year they went to a pro staging tree.
