Wow! What a smack. Glad your ok. Better get some tube on order, alro steel in cuyahoga falls has .120 wall dom for like 75 a stick, had to redo my entire roof after I did sorta the same thing you did launched up a ledge over by scooby, except mine went left and barrel rolled three times. Yeah thanks for the offer on the bender. Truck driver krist took it to Nick (buggybarn) and Paul for me. They rebuilt the whole roof, took it to Rush and helped me put it back together and ride 3 weeks later. Best group of friends. Oh and didn't charge me a dime till I get my job back. |

FWIW, that gusset by the main hoop has crushed the tube, that's why it's kinked like that, always take gussets to the sides of the tube, where they're effectively acting on about 5x the wall thickness, the centre of a tube is the weakest spot by far for a gusset. Your new gussets look like they're folded in two sections and do that? Hard to tell, but anyway, in case it helps anyone else avoid a few too many knocks on the head... |

Glad yer OK. So many times a crowd has rushed to the rescue and did more damage. Examples. Pulling someone out b4 they cut the electric fuel pump off and thus feeding the fire. Flipping the rail over b4 the driver gets to put it in gear thus rolling down the hill into the crowd. There IS NO emergency to flip someone over. And the common head butt. Kinda like 911. 300 fire fighters clogging up the fire escape stairwells. My brother flipped once and did not have a single scratch. But a by stander saw the radiator steam and screamed fire. He cut himself to ribbons on sharp metal trying to get out too fast. If I flip, just pick up the beer that slings out of my cooler and lets laugh it off and party. |
