You must have one hell of a back yard :eek: Definately cant go wrong with a Deere. When I had my tractor business I used to make all kinds of extra money building tracks and jumps for the dirtbike/quad guys

I need a dozer for a couple weeks up at the Egg Farm. It would be nice to have to finish off some of the trails I have going. Plus I need to make a flat spot for the garage/barn.

[quote='Chaindrive Rail']Hey Roy,

What kind of racing were you doing with the off road mustang?

Right now the money seems to be in riding 4 wheelers through deep mud and crawling over rocks with 4X4's.

I'd like to do something different than that using woods buggies and old frontwheel drive cars and your pictures look interesting.

It was a closed course. One of a kind course for sure. It had a large hill you had to climb and two creek crossings. I called

A few years ago I raced my buggy. I loved the tight turns and the tabletop jumps, There was one long straight with a very tight flat turn at the end. If you drove in to hard you were on your top. That was all fun, but the track also had alot of high short jumps. Almost like mogals they were no good at all for a woodsbuggy. The only guys who could negotiate them were the ones with very pricey suspensions.

[quote='Chaindrive Rail']Thanks Roy.

I have a few more questions if you don't mind:

Did you have to modify the suspension much?

Were there a lot of holes and jumps or was it fairly smooth?

Was the speeds high with long straight a ways?Every now and then I'll have a couple of old cars on the way to the crusher that still pull them selves so we'll finish them off before I take them to the crusher. I figure a track would be more fun than a field and if we have that much fun with them
