They look like wheels off an old "gasser" dragster. No idea where you'd find them though. Maybe Halibrand or Empi

These are what you're looking for: http://scranton.craigslist.org/mcy/3665827456.html

Maybe email him and ask what they are.

I know those are spindle mount rims bob newsome use to build
them in hueytown back in the day but no idea where to get
Them now. You can try Keith Mitchell to see if he has a used
Pair he has a buggy shop and about 20 acre junkyard of only
Volkswagen stuff he is on the sponsor page so good luck

those are old jackman wheels there were 2 types, one type looked like a "buggy" wheel and then these "spoke/spindle" type on the red buggy (at least that ive been told on many occasions from several of the 80"s era buggy riders), I know a few guys that have them but they wont part with them either

here is some pics of the buggy in the vid posted above

Those wheels came from Johnny's Speed and Chrome from back in the 1980's-90's.
They went out of business around 94-95 IIRC.

I had a set on my 1st buggy.

Here is the catalog, I still have one around here somewhere.

Darrel, I will look at the swap meet at the 15th anual Bug and buggy show here in Chattanooga this weekend. How much do you want to spend?

I really have no idea. Since the wheel uses the spindle and bearings to mount with a spindle nut, how or what kind of rotor would fit. I've never messed with spindle mount wheels. I guess I can learn something new.
