Ahhh... the memories. that was a fun day. taking those pictures. the air plane was an old one. it had us wondering when we got in, because it took 2 people to shut the passenger door. it was cool. all we had to do was pitch in a few bucks for fuel and we bought the pilot lunch. We took off from Elyria airport. flew to wellsville, circled the place a couple of times. landed in akron. went and had lunch, and then hopped back in the plane and flew back to elyria, it took most of the day. I think they sold that plane and all he has is a little 2 seater now, i doubt we will go back up there anytime soon.

It was a 1957 Piper Apache and yes they sold it. Dennis almost had me blowing chunks when did a hard power down spiral while I was looking straight down at our camp at Yellow Creek. Otherwise it was a pretty cool trip up until we realized there may be people on the ground with guns and the thought that we were DEA.

And no, there wasn't anyone in the plane named Chunks.
