So basically, nothing to do with which engine is better, just which one is heavier and has the stickiest tyres?

not making excuses but yeah thats what i was thinking, who knows if the ford had added in the bed, plus he had six "big rig" tires vs 8 "regular" tires, traction is the name of the game and if you aint got it, well you going backwards regardless of the how much hp and tq you got

No how u should really do it if any body thinks there truck is bad!!! HOOK up with about 20 foot of chain back up to bumper to bumped and then take off with all u got and wait for the chain to git tight and lets see whos truck holds up and pulls the other !!! GO BIG OR GO HOME!!!

Wonder why there using tractor v's to pull
On concrete seems like a less aggressive tire with
more surface area on The ground would work better

i would guess they dont want that much traction. i would rather have my tires slip and lose the pull than my tires stick and start grenading the driveline

Well the Chevy never started, he was still on the brakes when the dodge took off. Not a tug o war by any means, but it was funny. Ruined the tires on the chevy, nice $1000 joke!
