 What a motley crew we were. (My buggy in this photo is neon green with white body 2nd from right)  Another photo of my first buggy (Chenoweth 2 seater with 8" widened front end)  This is my home made toy hauler with my second buggy (chassis by Paul Roger's in Plant City, Fl.)  Porsche 2.8 stroker with Dual Dell 48  Photo from Ocala National Forest  A 90% complete photo of my current Buggy.  My ridding Buddy. He asks at least four times a week to go for a ride. I had great memories in the back seat of a buggy growing up. Now I have an 18 year old son that will be in his own buggy next year. Nice pictures! |

Thanks, I had my first buggy at 18 years old. The Green car with the aluminum body. I have alway had a buggy and suspect I always will. Some people drink, some people race, some jump out of perfectly good air planes. The off road/ buggy people just know how to have fun and support each other with knowledge and suggestions. |

I liked it a lot it was not as reliable as a type 1 and $ don't get me started. Everything is twice as expensive as a type 1. I had a 76 mm domello machine welded crank, broke it, went Bernie Burgman perfect circle bullet proof . I had true Porsche heads and sheet metal- big valve chevy 202 intake x 40 exhaust. I had dual dell 48's and she still wanted more gas. I ran it for 2 years on and off. Obama put a hurt-in on Construction. I now run an Acura 3.2 liter out of an Acura 3.2 CL-S 2003. It is unreal 275 horse and 235 lbs torque at 3500 rpm. Once the Vtech comes on hold on cause she's on the rev limiter in no time. Top speed with 091 stock gears and 31" tire 125 mph at 5500 rpm still anoth 1000 rpm to go. |

I have a couple good 3.5's and everyone I talk to is mega $$ to do the ecu Thanks |

What year 3.5? If it has drive by wire I don't think my trick will work with those. The second question is do you have a harness. I can get a wire harness and ECU modified for your 3.5 for $1200.00 through Vtech Performance in Arizona. I was able to modify my ECU to think it was in reverse so it doesn't look for speed sensors and allow it to rev to the limiter. I am contemplating a change to a plug and play that can be tuned easily. But we shall see what the winter brings. |

Mine are 99-03 I have harness's ecu,,,,my bigest issue is the Immobilizer how are you getting around it? Are you using the ign assembly out of the honda? I dont want to sound cheep but I cant bring myself to spend 1200 on the wiring ,,,Ive done Eco tec swap in a buddys buggy and did wiring myself and he hasnt had any issues,,,,,I talked to a tuner in NY and he's pretty sure he can make an older 30 or32 acura ecu work better than the oddy ecu,,,so maybe theres a way around immobilizer in the early acura's he wouldnt say lol must be a trade secret lol |

The immobilizer is not hard to work around if you have the factory key. I have the key zip tied in my ECU box with collar for the key sensor. You do not need to have the ignition switch. If you have a good car audio shop that can install a remote start system on any Honda they can show you how to strip it out. |
