All of you clowns that like to ride at Leeds, Alabama (Cahaba River) and wonder what your favorite spot looked like in 1943 just pull up Central of Georgia at Colgate junction .Mr. Colgate (toothpaste)was vacationing at near by Cook Springs in 1905 and they talked him into all this coal mining and railroad financing which left us these rides and trails we ride today .Also I would like to thank LnN Railroad (Louisville and Nashville) which left us hundreds of miles of old railroad beds of the minining past to ride on.Dave is an old history freak.I know my junk. Call me up . 205-369-7406 thanks. My Gpa grew up in a mining camp on the LnN which passed by a rich neighborhood where he met my Gma in 1923. Wow!
