Hi. Sorry. It's the same ole spill I've been trying to push.I can't convence anyone yet. They are too skepticle. Run any front wheel drive motor and trans parallel with the buggy(behind the seats) with a welded up diff.Coming off the rear flange run a vw bus shaft back to a Lincoln Continental IRS diff., sitting exactly where the bus diff was. Run Porshe 930's off of both sides out to your existing 3x3's.If you get a doner car you will not have to buy an adapter plate ,pressure plate, clutch, flywheel, exaust ,carburetors, wiring harness , battery, shifter, high torque starter, oil coooler, radiator, slave cylinder, no high dollar trans, computor ,NOTHING!Take the rest of the car to the scales and get back $150!And the motors run off pump gas! 150plus H.P. going thru it's own trans and diff getting multiplied lower by the upside down Continental 321:1 will have unreal power making the automatic trans shift much sooner thru all of its gears. The gears will basically be closer. My manual VW Passat will lite my 38's up in 2nd.Do this on a frame where the seats are far fwd especially with a V6 and or run 3x6's.The manual or auto shifter cable will be left alone and the shifter itself will be bolted to the floor. If you use a backwards turning Honda I guess you won't have to turn the diff upside down. But there may me too much angle of the dangle on your bus shaft, I don't know.(205)369-7406 Dave or DD

He's tryin write the way a ghetto thug talks, I think ....I.E in the character of "Cedric".
It was almost funny the first time he did it, after that its just been annoying pretty much.

DD, tell Cedric maybe we dont wanna put a fwd setup in our buggies. When you build one that will outclimb ANY one of ours, maybe we will think about it. Give it a rest, you act worse than a Jehovah's Witness knocking on the front door. (You dont wanna answer but you finally just got to open the door and tell them to GIT!)

they do good , but the more rock there is the more wear there is, i have seen a set destroyed in one day, but it was really rocky, however in sandy or loose/soft topsoil type conditions they do a pretty darn job and seem to last fairly good also imo.

and to answer your other question, that was the only area we played in that day and all of those hills are sandy type soil

lots of guys run them at lbl, its rocky but alot of really loose rock and loose dirt! and there they do awesome! but the price verses the lack of diversity i think hurts them imop!
