Well as it says above. I am new here and new to the whole buggy thing. I have been off-roading for years been to Wellsville more times than I can count. I have always wanted a buggy and finally have a start. I traded my motorcycle for this starter buggy. I have been trying to read as much info as I can. I have spent a few days reading through lost of posts here. I have no clue what chassis this is but its super short(84")and is lacking head room. So I am going to ride it around a little the rest of the summer/fall but this winter I am going to strip it down and get a Berrien Warrior frame. The Other that doesn't make a lot of sense to me is that the guy who had it before me had the trans rebuilt and had them put flyer gears in it. I would think that with it being a woods buggy you would want to go down in gearing not up. ![]() ![]() Right now i am in the middle of building a T-trailer. I am making a trailer light enough that I can tow behind my Jeep. I know the materials that I am using are not super light but they are free. Here is the back of the t-frame. ![]() I am going to weld her up tonight. Hoping to have the trailer about finished by the weekend and plated and on the road by next weekend. |

Welcome aboard. Nice starter Buggy. I would consider a frame with a longer wheelbase than the Warrior. I had one and found my nose in the air more times than not. Great for tight Woods however the hills in the Ville need a longer wheelbase. Where do you camp at the Ville, we are at Yellow Creek. |

Man it has been a long time since I have been down their. I would say about 4 or more years. When i did camp out down their is was down between the river and the railroad tracks so it might be the yellowcreek gounds. (dont remember the name of the campground). I am not really looking to do serious hill climbing right now. I have never driven a buggy off-road so I am going to take things slow and get acquainted with doing so. What is a good wheel base? 100" or more? |

Yea that would be Yellow Creek. 100" is a good all around wheelbase. Short enough for tight trails and yet long enough for the hills. I would take a look at the Stalker if your insistant upon a Berrian frame. Their cage design is much better than the typical rolled front hoop. |

Welcome Bones A 95" warrior with 3x3" trailing arms would give you 98". That is a pretty cost effective ride and climb pretty decent too. |

Good point, however from a hill climbing standpoint would not the warrior still have the cockpit farther back unlike the stalker that is cab forward design. I don't know if with the 3 x 3s on a Warrior if it put the cockpit near the same dimension with stock arms on a Stalker? |

No they are General Graber if i remember correctly. I have not been able to find them. I will double check when i get home tonight. It doesnt help that they should be on 8" rims and are on 10's. |
