Like I told Tanners buddy, he can give me a call, but I'll be honest I'm pretty pissed at this point. When someone calls me and purposely lies to me about being his dad, that makes me question his motive. How do you know he is right and I am wrong? I'm not sure at this point. I know he is only 16, but come on. Where were all of his buddies when he was buying it? If he wasn't sure about what he was loking at he should have had someone come with him to look at it. Not buy it, take it 10 hours away, and then complain on the internet without calling or e-mailing the person he bought it from. If Tanner has a problem he needs to call me. I'm not positive, but I believe I even sent him a picture of the CV and trailing arm before he bought it. I sent it to someone, not sure if it was him.
One of his buddies was right here, PM and Emailing you at least three times trying to see if you would mind if I came to your place and checked the buggy out for him. I got one response, at least a week after my first pm, saying you thought you had a buyer, but would email me if it didnt work out. I replied with saying I know the buyer and he wants me to look at it for him. You never responded to it, so I figured you didnt want me to look at it.
I have sold things I knew little about also. I always let people know I dont know what this or that is if I am not 100% sure. It is not wise to tell someone any car has certain parts if you dont have a clue yourself. Even if it is not your fault due to lack of knowledge, you are still misleading the one who buys from you. If you dont see a stop sign and run it, you still get a ticket if a cop sees you. Same principal.
As long as Tanner is happy with it, then thats all that really matters. I would feel bad over it myself. Everyone is different.
