It doesn't matter if you make the cage from 2" solid bar, if you don't triangulate it, it will fold like a house of cards.

I dont get what the big beal with the front hope design is as almost all buggy are caged this way.. yes plumerbills folded because it was a four seater with a huge open span with no support.

A good percentages of buggy's utilizing the hoop design is a matter of economics than being the correct way to build a cage in compression.

The front 2 bars go to the bumper....They un bolt so if i ever need to take the whole cage off i can.

Maybe, but there's a whole lot of buggies I wouldn't be happy riding around in too ;)

People this thing is not done yet ...Trust me it's not folding i have built race cars for a long time i under stand hitting your top and being safe ....i love the input tho thanks..

I agree Rick I think I over caged it but it is safe and I would roll it without a worry lol . Hell if I ever see you in the woods me and you'll get it out and be the first to roll it.
