May sounds a silly question but I've always put the bars back in the same way and never really took much notice - but will a spring plate fit on either end of a rear torsion bar or are they handed with a different spline on the inner? Thinking about using one to make and anti-roll bar with a spring plate on either end. |

Different number of splines on each end of bar. |

It's still a good idea,,,you could remove the splined section from a torsion tube and graft (weld) it into a spring plate. I have done similar by using a hole saw to remove the splined section from spring plates to graft into the short spring plates when using large tires. |

You can buy the center spline section, can't remember where right now. |
