Yo,

How is going folks. My names William. Im very new to dune buggies and stuff. I recently acquired a frame and it has a few issues, that I dont mind fixing. But one of the issues im having is that the front suspension is welded to the frame. Now, I would just leave it on there and go about fixing up everything else, but im wondering, what if this front suspension is really weak, and it breaks how will I remove it. But whats even worse... How will I put a new one one without any front clamps.

Like I said, Im very new too all this, and I may have allot of questions. The main reason why im here at this site is because I want to be able to do some serious off roading with my buggy. Similiar to what you folks do in yalls videos.

Maybe I should take a picture of what I have to give you guys a better idea of what im working with here. Ill take pictures in the morning or something.

Nothing wrong with welded front beam that a sawzall can't fix. Mine is welded on and a few others are 2. A good bead of weld is lighter than clamps

I wouldnt worry about it unless you want powdercoat. If you have to cut it out its tuff to fix powder. Paints more forgiving to repairs.
