I can't seem to find the thread that had the info.
I raised my rear trans mount an inch, but after reading a thread here some where discouvered that most of you lower the front mount. After trying to find my CV's binding point (28*), relized i was losing suspension travel. So I cut the mounts out and sunk the trans through the wish bone. Before I get to re-doing the mounts, how much clearance do you leave between the CV and wish bone? Right now the 930's sit with a piece of 1/4" FB under them. Frame is level, and dangle finder along the trans ribs, reads 10* Any recomendations as to pitch and elevation? Thanks, DW

I think your on the right path. Sit the tranny cv's on a spacer like you are doing and rock the tranny down in front,,,,,equals up in back. Lower the front as much as you can before you lose the mounts,,,alter the front mounts as much as you can before you lose the ability to mount the front. Your spacer might be a little thin ,,,,not sure,,just make sure there is clearance at full travel., This method worked for me,,,good luck :wink:

The CV's and axels will be ok at 1/4" space, but I'll have to shim the skid plate. Set this low, I think the 10* rake will be to much. Now I have to remount the shifter box close to where it was. 5 ribber in place of what was a type 1. Another clasic example of 1 step forward, 2 back. Thanx's Dave W.
