Well I got my fame almost back to normal it was pushed to the driver side by about 5”. Now it’s off maybe ¼” I found 3 welds that are cracked and need to clean some paint off to inspect to see if there is more. Anywhere there is a crack I’m going to grind the welds and re-weld it and gusset it if I can. Also I will be putting in an X brace behind the seats now, that I have been putting off.

Also I have a lifted thing spindle that it bent badly. Can I hack off the spindle and butt-weld a new one on? Will a butt-weld be strong enough to hold a spindle on? I’m not sure if I can open up a spindle hole to weld it from the front and back.

Nice frame rack Brad,,,If you got enough heat(amperage) in your welder and you preheat it should be fine. All the combo spindles I've seen are not bored thru and welded, just butt welded

That's what he was doing, hugging the tree with a chain, a real tight one.

I'm getting a big laugh from this. I've only ridden my 1st buggy 3 times. The first 1 hour a cv broke and it rolled back into a tree bending the corner of the frame around the engine by 2 inches and up to behind passenger seat outward. After trying a jack pushing it out and the quad's winch, I hooked it to a maple tree and pulled it with a come-along then my truck. This work almost back to where it was. I can't figure how to bend that last 4" of frame to be square.

If it's just the last 4" couldn't you just cut it out, sleeve it and put a new piece in? Do you have any pictures so we can see what you’re dealing with?
