Post subject:  Sub Frame mounts?

What you guys think of these? I was just going to us 2 bolt exhaust flanges but a buddy found these and with some paint you would never know they were there. A little pricey but worth it for the look.

thats the same thing the big tube chassis 4x4s use,they got to be strong if they use them,ive also seen them used to make transmission cross members on drag cars makes it easy to get the tranny out

Properly posisitioned they are THE strongest way to attach two tubes without welding. $100 for 12 ends and bolts, that's not too pricey.

I have similar ones on my buggy I'm building, and saw these on ebay, but watch out. Most of the ones you will find have a step on the two halves that hooks together with the bolts coming one from each side. That puts the torsional load on thick steel. These are flat where the two halves meet and put the torsional load purely on the bolts. Great idea, but buy the other style.
