NO, dont take any leafs out. Get some extended front arms and cut and turn the center of your beam 1/4". Chuck makes some nice 1x 2's for about $150. If you run red urethane bushings, make sure the arms are not real tight to install into the beam. May have to clearance the bushings to where they slide into beam easily and arms slide into the bushings easily.

I know you can remove one solid bar but you have to replace it with a split bar do this to the top and bottom and it should help. Make sure you have one solid bar on top an bottom of the each stack.

When you soften the suspension, as your suggesting, you will loose ride height.
What size tires? A bigger tire will soften it up.
What air pressure? Dropping air pressure will soften it up.
What shocks are you running? A different valve shock will soften it up.
How much of the shock are you using? If your using most of it, it's not the springs.
Is the suspension free and working properly? Worn suspension parts will tighten it up.
Just something to think about.

Darrell's exactly right. All of us KY guys run the cheapest shocks at auto zone. Very soft, and they have a lifetime warranty.
And so is my Dad, like those arms I showed you on the front of mine and my Dad's buggy.
And no, you definitely don't lose any ride height either, My buggy and just about every other KY buggy sits way up in the front.... and they still ride like a cadillac. The frontend just floats over all the bumps and rocks and stuff. If you look at my BOTM pics there is a good picture of our front end set-up.
