What withe rims are you guys running with 15" wide "V" thread tires. Pros and cons with 10" versus 12"

I run 12" rims. If you run them with 10" they will ballon up. Although it will help protect your side wall (rim). With the 12" the tread will run much flatter putting more tread on the ground for more traction. I believe you can also run up to 15" wide rims too.

Right now Im running 13" wide "V" treads on 8" wide rims. They work in most places however there are some hills they just dont have enough traction. From the sound of Coles post I could mount the 13" tires on 10" rims and gain traction over the 8" rims. I do like the fact that my 8" rims half about a 4" offset on them. It allows me to get it in my 6 1/2' wide trailer. Most rims I see for sale only have a 2" offset. Thats the reason I went with that setup to begin with. Also Im only running a three rib so less traction helps to not tare out my gears.
