Not sure what it is, not stock for sure. Can he measure (mic) the two bearing fits? I might be able to figure it out from that. |

Just talked to Kevin to get measurements and he said he went to the parts store and did some cross checking and found that a 67 bus inner and KP beetle outer works,,,,,,still don't know for sure if its been custom built ,,or what? |

Tell him to call McKenzie's or Kartec or Saco GermanAuto If he can wait a few days I can get him the numbers off my brg's,,,let me know p.s. I was also told years ago the were modified 356 Porsche spindles but I have never compared them,he might try them brg sizes |

I have two sets of them. One on my buggy and a spare set that someone f'd up by cutting part of the steering arm off of the spindle. I was told that they are porsche 356B spindles. They are the same as beetle spindles except for the diameter of the actual spindle. I think you can even use stock k/l pin drums. I know they are tough because I've sheared the link pins a few times but have not damaged the spindles. |

Rockrockets I flipped off of a rock high wall where coridoor x is passing through. The wall was about 60 ft high I made it to the top and was spinning going backwards and before I could stuff the clutch and hit the brakes it hooked on th epassenger side and started flipping. I will find out tommorow about the 356 bearings fitting I had to order them. I will post tommorow with the news thanks guys for all your help. |
