I got all the stuff for it at a roundy-round swap meet. the bars are hallow and I've got about 10 diff. size\weights. I'm not even sure what arms they are(what the intended use is), and I just made a "yoke" that threads into the end of the arm and a 3\8 heim fits in it. I bet i don't even have $100 in it. I have been running it for 2 years now with no problem, and you wouldn't believe the differance it makes. I'll get some better pics and post them this weekend for ya.

I can imagine the benefit for a flatter surprise like round track racing . I wonder how they benefit on steeper and out of level terrain. Is this something we can use on woodsbuggy's where we may tend to be in some precarious situations from time to time?

I had the same one on my woods buggy last year, and it really made it ride rough on slow trail riding. But all i had to do was pull one of the "links" off one side, and it was not connecting the 2 arms anymore. As far as stregnth, I have bottemed out one side of the car with the other side off the ground (full twist on the sway-bar) and nothing broke. I don't think there is too much of any advantage of running one on a woods car, un less you drive on the street too. My car handles like a race go-cart on the street (i guess compared to another mid-long travel buggy).

I was thinking something like that. It would be great at the Monster Truck shows where we do figure 8 racing and flat turning stuff but in the woods it may be a different story. When I try fast turns on level ground it sways a lot and the buggy could use sway bars but in the woods they may be detrimental. But yours are real cool looking.

Got ya. I'm sure it would help. I remember meeting you (curt) at Livingston on i think memorial day weekend about 6-9 years ago down at the playground. I want to say you just put a northstar in your car or sombodys car or something like that (I've had a few beers since then), but ever since, i have wanted to build a simular car. I've got some ideas, who knows maybe, i'll do it with my new woods buggy this winter.
