Anyone ever heard of F-O-A Off Road Shocks?
www.F-O-A.com
They seem to be a well built shock and reasonably priced.
I'll be needing to replace my front shocks soon, thought this might be the way to go.

They look great, BUT , I would be concerned if they are going to be around 5 years from now when you need to buy parts for them. SOmething to think about.

I got a real good deal on my Fox's from Downsouth Motorsports out of CA. The guy re-valved them and re-charged them for free too, as well as free shipping. He's got a store on ebay. I highly recommend him.

That's one way to look at it I guess. On the other hand...you sure miss out on alot of stuff if everything is purchased with that in mind.
In the event we did go away within 5 years, the seals we use are common in the industry, so replacements would be easy to get. We use the same valving shims as Ki

Thanks much Dean. I can certainly understand the hesitence to try a new product. I have no problems at all with people that opt for a better known company. I have myself when shopping for electronics and such.
We basically wanted to come up with a way to build a GOOD off road shock at a pr

I wish I could, but we are currently selling them for as low as we can. I appreciate the interest though.
Maybe if you guys put together a group buy, I can get the owner to do something.

Chris I inquired a week ago in regards to recommendation setup, shock use etc to your company and as of yet have not received a reply. I dont have an issue putting out the bucks to get a good quality product however i do expect cooperation on the manufactures part. They go hand in hand. Thats exactly what happened when Pensky took over Axis shocks. The customor service went to shit and i no longer do business with them or recommend them to others. Just my 2 cents.

Odyknuck, let us know if and when FOA get back to you on your questions. I will be reluctant to do business with someone who has poor customer srevice. I'm getting real close to needing a couple of sets of shocks so if they don't step up, and soon, I will get them somewere else.

Will do. It's unfortunate because they appear to have a decent product at reasonable prices. Hows the new rear trailing arms holding up?

Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I've check the websites email archives, and I've replied to everything that has come through, so I'm guessing it didn't come through for some reason. You can always email me direct-- foasales AT live DOT com
