What kind of bennafits from running extended arms on front? I have not talked to or rode with anyone who runs them. I am sure you get some ground clearance, but what else? |

more travel, means softer ride,,softer ride means less rebound. or something |

You get a much better ride quality. Once you have tried some, you will never go back. |

I extended mine 2 1/2 inches. It does make a big difference, imo. It was a real PITA getting them setup correctly, though. |

Do you run the same amount of springs? I imagine the extended trailling arm would do the same? Wouldn't you have to raise the rear if you extended the arms in the front? |

Not necessarily it could just be set up to have more droop travel in the front. The longer arms will apply more leverage to any spring used wether a torsion spring pack, coil over or nitrogen. If you want to retain the same spring rate as before it will likely need to be stiffened up. |

There's also a good chance it will be just right...try it out on a ride with some good hills first. |
