 Post subject: CV's...dumb question.

I'm running 944 CV's and they have a groove on one end around the outside of them (probably like any CV).
Is there a specific side that this groove should be facing when mounted (i.e. grooves facing toward the flanges, outboard, etc.)?

outer case grooves go toward the drive flanges.
