I was looking at the knock down kits on larry's website and i known about the berrien's for a while, but i came a cross beeline last night. Any opinions about either one? both look identical. I plan on having a knock down kit by the end of the month and just wanted to know about the pro's and con's of each |

They are not identical. I like the double bar on the Beeline and the way the front end clamps to the frame. I have ran both and I really like the Beeline, but to be honest, I couldn't say whether one is better than the other, both have worked well for me. Berriens have been around for quite some time. Both are good quality frames.....Donnie |

I agree that both brands are pretty good. You can't go wrong with either one. I have had both myself. One thing I want to mention is that the owner of Bee-Line, Tony Begley, is a woods buggy rider himself and his frames are designed specifically for the woods. Just a general fact I wanted to throw out there. |

Purplerail just bought a Beeline Explorer. I really like the design of it. Nice lines and LOTS of room where you sit. Every buggy has a wide spot where the seats go, then they turn right back in and narrow up. The Explorer carrys that wide area forward about 2'. Looks like lots of room. Of course purple's buggy isn't as cool as my 30 year old 1 seater. |

iam probly gonna go with the beeline, my buddy has a gravel pit full of cars, and he said there is an old 50's bug down there complete, except its been sitting for 20 years and is burried in about 2' of dirt. iam stopping there before work tommorow afternoon and gonna check it out, he said theres probly another one hidden in the woods or some were else in the 16 acre pit |

I HAVE A BERRIEN 290 CLASSIC FRAME. IT HAS A SHORT WHEEL BASE,VERY NIMBLE IN THE WOODS. MY BIGGEST PROBLEM IS WHO EVER WELDED IT TOGETHER DID NOT DO A GOOD JOB.SO IT IS TIME TO REWELD AND ADD GUSSETS TO ALL OF THE CORNERS. |

matt123, Personally if your are close to Larrys or Berrian for that matter I would spend the extra money a get a frame allready welded and ready to go. Unless you have a frame Jig and are an expert welder I would leave that to the people that do it everyday for a living. Its well worth a few hundred bucks. Also it will give you more time to focus on the build. Food for thought. |

Good to hear that both are quality frames. I am looking at gettign back into the buggy scene and have called both places with questions about their frames. I like the knockdown frame of Berrien's as well as the 106" packrat frame. However, I have yet to talk to Tony in four days of calling. He is always somewhere else. Berien has answered their phone every time and answered my questions. Please dont take this as a bashing, its just what I have experienced myself in my $700-900 quest for answers. |

beeline tony is a hell of a guy with a bad ass frame hes a guy like me and you he works to ride he knows what we need for the woods. |
