| Post subject: | Extended front arm pics? |
After reading lots of posts, I have a question. Does anybody have pics of thier extended front arms and the jig they used? Mad Mikes are really nice...just curious what a jig would look like. I dont want to reinvent the wheel...since many have already done it. I am normally on www.thesamba.com...but they flame anybody that wants to make thier own arms and such! Thanks in advance guys! |

wow! those look pretty long! Do you have a bigger picture? How much travel are you getting? I am installing the big towers and running Fox 10" resevoirs. I am shooting for 12" of travel. My car is not a woods buggy, it spends most of its time out in the desert in really rough terrain. |

Here is a bigger pic,,,the travel is about 12 inches... not as much a lot of kingpin fronts but it stays tighter from my experiences.

They measure 3 inches longer or 12 versus 9. When I built this I borrowed most of the ideas from Blindchickenracing, but they use kp and I use bj. I built it when I was mostly trail riding. Now that I am trying to climb hills I find that this setup is much heavier than most of the guys on this site. Oh well , I still like it and the extra weight helps off set that heavyass wc engine. |

Mine is a Chenowth car wit a 6" wider beam...it is very heavy. I doubt the extended arms will add that much weight! |
