My front arm (king pin)comes out of the housing about an inch then stops. Any idea on how to pull it out? Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk |

Torsion springs or through rods? Might have to take the other side apart and drive it out |

Like mike says beat them out mine do the same thing its just the mixture of grease, dirt dust and throw in a dash of rust and they get stiff and stick. I'm trying mine with derlin bushings and no grease see how this works out |

Delrin has glass in it, very abrasive on it's own, without grease your arms will wear out fast. |

Got it out. Looks like the spindle bearings are shot. The arm is scuffed up. You can see where the bearings we're against the arm. But the arm moved freely just a little rough in the movement. Maybe they will last till I get some from Mike. Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk |

Nyoil seems to work better on lineal applications, glides and slides without impact. There is a better material, I think it's called MDS50, costs about $50 an inch. Delrin and lots and lots of grease for me. |

Are you running an aftermarket arm or a stock vw, I was told you cannot run aftermarket arms with needle bearings it will wear a groove in the arm, sorry if I missed something stating if you are or not Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk |

Darrin, While I like the "low rider" look, It did make the bumps a little rough. Are you going back to torsion or getting your shocks fixed? |

Both. I put the torsion leaves back in and installed new shocks. They actually gave me 4 shocks and a $20 rebate for the exchange of the busted ones. Maybe this winter I can upgrade to REAL off-road shocks and better arms. The extra torsion still didn't help. The leaves must be shot. So the air shocks are still holding the front end up.
