I finished one removable/temporary rear fender. I used the 1/8" plastic sheeting from Speedway Motors. That stuff is very rigid. Welded mounts with a 5/8" all thread bolted to them. Easy on and off. Lets let time see if they are durable enough. Sprayed them with WD40 to keep the mud from sticking. That plastic is slick anyway.

Yeah, Looks nice and all but that threaded rod isn't going to last all that long. On the next one think 1" tubing with a nut welded to the inside then bolted to the frame. |

Sounds like a good test MM..lol. Hey Mike I started to use one inch tubing but thought that all thread would be stronger. I might do the other side with the tubing. With the tubing I can rivet the plastic. That can take some of the ugly out..lol |

All thread is gonna bend. It's not really strong at all the way ur using it it will more than likely bend right after that nut. Than if it bends to far it will just break |

Yep better Ideal. I would however turn a bigger flat on the end so you have more surface to bolt to the frame. |
