What are people using for body panels? I'm looking for something inexpensive and functional. It doesn't have to be pretty, just needs to keep the slop off of me. I'm looking for fender ideas aswell.

I use .040 aluminum. you can get it in lots of colors and the paint is almost unscratchable! it is also easy to cut.

Speedway has .070 and .125 thick rolls of plastic. It's 22" by 25 feet for $45. I used it for the sides and gonna make some rear fenders with it.Image

OP I used .060 aluminum and mounted them with 1/4 turn zues fastners. Make clean up so much more easy. Bsmith, How well do your front fenders work? Any better pics of the brackets? Curious how you mounted them.

Don't know how well yet. Hadn't had a chance to ride. If weather permits heading to Murphy NC with MickMouse the 19th. Hope the fenders work there. I used your bracket method.Image

I have two different steering knuckles. Driver side has a bend toward the frame. The passenger side is straight back, which cuts my clearance down. Thus is why the angle iron. Is reversed from the driver side. I wish there was a way to have 2 mounting holes to orevent twist...oh well...we will see and adjust.lol

I had considered two mounting bolts and had a design in mind, however my thoughts were when hitting something they would twist and not bend as much. As it turns out it was the better decision to go with one. When the branch hit the fender it twisted it and saved some damage.

Makes sense. Better to give than to rip.
