my shock was ok i did not notice that the end of torsion was busted.got it tore apart going to need new spring plates looked on line they had different length's how do ya measure them.

Pull them out I guess. Or take all the arms off and get a close measurement

Type 3 work excellent. You don't have to twist them up hard as a rock.And they ride very smooth.

I agree I put type 3 in mine this year and love em

can you put the type 3 on a type 1 stock

That's what I put on mine the torsion bars with the spring plates they will fit right in the type 1 torsion

got my spring plates and bushings when i took the old one off i could not index it anyone got a idea one how to install it with out any marks or nothing.

Some one told me to set them at 22 degrees. Might be close

is that 22 degrees before you start tighting them up

I run 3x3's with 28mm saw bars. I just slide them in no jacking needed. When I had empi 28mm bars I half covered the bottom bolt hole with the spring plate.

X2 I split the bottom hole on mine but I have aftermarket torsion also

gto spring plates back on hope i did not pull them up to tight.

got it back together it sits alittle lower on that side does that mean not enuff tension on it

Best way to set it is make the springplate cover half of the bottom hole and you should be good to go also it dont hurt to have the driver side slightly more stiff at first definitely if yiu ride alone in buggy more often it shoukd break in

mine are double spring plates i have to get the trailing arm out of the way to remove the spring plate so i cant do it like yall are saying.unless i am just missing something.

guess i had a aha moment i understand what yall are saying about the spring plate and the bottom hole thanks guys.

Bottom hole where the bars go in not hole on springplate and arms should be out of springplate anyway when doing this I usillu just hold it up with a strap while I set the springplates
