U should mount the bag with arm all the way up and Not at full droop, and compress the bag completely and let it out about half inch so it don't bottom out just like mounting a shock, if u mount the bags with to mutch distance between the mounts it will take more pressure to keep at ride height and ride to stiff so keep the bag as squished as possible. And if ur not putting in a pivot on the lower mount then u will have to play with the mounts to see how the bag moves throughout arm travel. I'm sure madmike will chime in he talked me through mounting mine. Oh and a trick to keep bag compressed while mounting, squeeze it down and then put a piece of duck tape over hole works awesome 8-)

I am sure that everyone has their own way of doing things: I just finished mounting the bags on my new build. I chose to mount them at the middle of travel to minimize bad angles. I had first mounted them at full compression and then realized how ugly the angles got on the bags at the center of travel and full extension. I also used heim joints for my lower mount to help the bag travel in a straight line as it was designed to.
good luck
