x2, thats a newsom chassis.. fugitves and invaders have a bar that loops in the back, newsome is very similar but they are wider in the bottom, and they wouldnt fit duals without widing the frame in the rear. the early ones where good but the later ones where made of .085 tubing and most of them rusted apart.. if its a solid frame id put it together.. good climbing chassis 8)

not to rain on your parade but this thing scares me. the roof looks like its drilled and pop rivited into the tube. atleast take that off and reweld the holes. the gas tank  atleast take it off the stilts. i think the only reason its that high is to clear the seatbelts which are better than nothing but sub par.get you some harnesses. from the pic it looks like the back downtubes are kinked at the bend ready to let everything fold backwards. rebuild that with straight tubes and an x. is the battery held in by a big ratchet strap? again not to be an ass but i fear for your safety. you got your work cut out but nice buggy.

I kno things are not up to par most of the thing were on it whenI I bought the frame like the seat belts and roof. I made the gas tank mounts as temps so i could test and tune. I just got it running about a week ago. I plan on getting harnesses witch is better 4 or 5 point. And whts wrong with the roof its just self tapping screwed down? I appreciate the honesty its a work in progress

5 point is better and he probably is saying that having holes in the roof will let water in and rust the inside making the tube weak but i dont think the roof is really a problem just do a little bracing yes it would be better if the frame had no holes and a solid roof welded in but my friends old buggy same frame as yors had a roof done the same and he fliped and had no problems just had bracing in the right places

yall may be right about it being a newsom :|

I was just going by what I thought a buddy told me his was, he had a frame that was pretty much identical to my fugitive except the floor was wider in the seat area (my bottom rails come straight back to the torsion and his had a bend in the seat area that made that part of the floor about 4 - 6 inches wider overall than mine) and I was thinking he said his was a newsom :?
