Wrong way, let me make sure I understand what you're describing. You cut off the spring plate bump stops, you did not use limit straps, and the spring plates slammed into the torsion bar cover plate and eventually destroyed it and part of the torsion housing? You also broke some cv's. Then later you installed limit straps and stopped breaking cv's. But now the housing or spring plate cover can't be fixed?
