im not sure cause i dont have airbags but you do know that teflon tape might not seal good if not put on properly! it has to be wrapped in the direction of the thread, 4 or 5 full wraps. but these guys might use something specific, if not , make sure there wrapped correctly, hope it helps ya! |

Run the thread tape counter clockwise when you tape and ck with soapy water for were your leak is first , also check shader valve for leak . Good luck ! |

Forget the tape use Teflon paste, or any thread sealing paste for that matter |

You can go to your local HVAC supply house and get some stuff called leak lock, it works very well. We use it on the valve caps on A/C units to seal them up, they also have serious pressure on them to. |

MadMike wrote: Forget the tape use Teflon paste, or any thread sealing paste for that matter X2 The tape is junk! ! I have had leaks with it my self (oil cooler lines). The paste is where it at. |

If you want the convenience of tape get the double-thickness 'one wrap gas spec' type stuff - it's 0.2mm instead of the usual 0.075mm thick crap you get from most stores. |
